E.E. Godin, Letter to Blodwen Davies, June 15, 1931

Flanders, Ontario.
June 15th-1931.

Mr. Bladwin Davies,
Toronto, Ont.

Dear Sir; –

I have received your letter of the 9th, inst, in connection with Tom Thomson. [...]

We had many discussions on the war, .As I remember it he did not think that Canada should be involved.

He was very outspoken in his opposition to Government patronage. Especially in the appointment of Commissions in the Milita. I do not think that he would offer himself for service. I know up until that time he had not tried to enlist.

Yours Very Truly,
E.E. Godin
