Eirik the Red in "The Book of the Icelanders

The land called Greenland was discovered and settled from Iceland. Eirik the Red was the name of the man from Breidafjord who went there and took that land there which is called Eiriksfjord. He gave the land a name and called it Greenland, saying that if it had a good name, people may want to go there.
