The Salt Spring Island Murder

A large delegation of Songish [Songhees] Indians waited on the Administrator of the Government yesterday to petition for a commutation of the sentence of death passed upon Tschunahuaset, the Chemainus Indian convicted of the murder of Wm Robinson. The delegates were assured that their prayer would be taken into consideration.
