Letter from Amy Redpath to Alice, 24 August 1901

Ste Agathe des Monts
Aug 24th

My dear Alice,

[...]Lily Dougall comes over to see us every day & some of the neighbours are beginning to call much to our disgust as we cannot say we are not at home when they catch us reclining on the front gallery. Lily gives Peter a row every morning. I spent yesterday sorting & tearing up old letters, – rather a mournful business.

I am feeling so well, better than I have been for a long time.

Peter joins me in much love to each of you & a special hug for Betty –

Lovingly, Amy
