John O’Leary

John O’Leary was an Overseer of the Poor for the Parish of Chipman when the “Frozen Man” was found in December 1859. He was a resident of the village of Chipman, and is reported to be a 63-year old Irish farmer, married to his wife Elisabeth (60) in the 1861 census of New Brunswick for Queen’s County.
