QUEBEC CITY ASSIZES

THE SESSION BEGINS TOMORROW – FIVE CASES OF MURDER

Quebec City, 5 (D.N.-C.). – Tomorrow in Quebec City a term of the Criminal Assizes will begin that is likely to be one of the foremost in the annals of our legal system.

Indeed, it has been a number of years since the Criminal Court of Quebec City has had to try so many cases of such a serious nature.

Five murder cases are scheduled to be tried. Among the accused are the Houde woman for the murder of Corinne sic Gagnon, whose father is also accused of manslaughter.[[...]]

The murder cases will be presided over by Justice L.-P. Pelletier and all other cases by Justice Désy.
