Dear Sir,

I acknowledge receipt of your letter of January 19th concerning your father and your mother, who are detained in St. Vincent de Paul and in Kingston. These two cases were studied a few days ago, but the Minister of Justice did not feel obliged to recommend the release of either one or the other.

Yours sincerely,

Chief of the Remission Service, ad interim

Monsieur Georges Gagnon,
St. Joseph de la Délivrance Hospice,
Lévis, P.Q.
