Registre de la prison, pénitencier de Kingston, 1861

[ Stone Shed at the Kingston Penitentiary, 1875, Prisoners cut stones in the stone shed at the Penitentiary.  It was difficult work and punishment books reveal prisoners were often caught talking in the stone shed, which was forbidden.  This illustration is a detail of a larger picture that originally appeared in La femme de l’accusé James Donnelly est encore venue le voir [autorisé?] leur deuxième entretien.
