THE DONNELLY CASE.

Reported Departure of James Keefe.

A rumor is abroad that James Keefe, who was depended on as a witness for the prosecution in the Donnelly case, has left the country. The report goes that he purchased a ticket last Thursday or Friday for Nebraska. It will be recollected that Keefe is the man that William Donnelly is said to have first told his story to, and he was expected to corroborate the evidence of Donnelly. It is hard to say what the effect of this will be. The Crown intended to call him tomorrow before the Magistrates.
