The name given to the pass between Tagish and Carcross, now followed by the road.

Description:

This has always been a foot trail and is so named because “the wind is always blowing that way”. This is the trail on which Skookum Jim was camped when he had his famous dream which led to the discovery of Klondike gold (see Tagish Tlagu by Angela Sidney, to be published by the CYI).
