We do not know his name: Klatsassin and the Chilcotin War


Cushen, who may have been Tsilhqot’in, appeared on the list of possible murderers responsible for the attack on the road crew, published in the British Columbian on May 28, 1864. Cushen never stood trial and was never implicated in the attacks except by the newspaper.
