Hon Ministre of Justice
Ottawa Ont

Honorable Sir
I beg to be allowed to place before you my pled for my release from prison on parole.

I have now served five years and eight months on my sentence and feel sure that if released I would be able to conduct myself an such a manner as would be above reproach. I have learned a lesson here what will guide me throughout the rest of my life.

My husband was released from St Vincent de Paul penitentiary some time ago and since his release he has made no effort to communicate with the children and I am very anxious about them.

My brother at Three Rivers Nicolet has promised to give me a home and finincial assistance until I can obtain employment and support and care for my children.

I fully realize the seriousness of the crime for what I am here and even the I am certain I was not sane at the time I shall pass the rest of my life trying to atone.

Honorable Sir

I beg that you will kindly consider my plea and that by your gracious assent I will soon be home with my loved one

Your humble Servante
Marie Anne Houde
