MYSTERIOUS DEATH

(From our correspondent)

Quebec City, 16. — The judicial authorities and officials from the provincial Attorney General’s office are investigating the death of a little ten-year-old girl, Aurore Gagnon, the daughter of Télesphore Gagnon, residing in Ste. Philomène in the county of Lotbinière.

According to the coroner's inquest held Friday evening, the child died of generalised poisoning. In order to determine the exact cause of this unexpected death, the authorities have sent the child's internal organs for analysis to the official laboratory in Montreal.

The authorities are awaiting the results of this analysis before deciding what procedures to undertake next.
