Trefflé Houde

The Father of Marie-Anne Houde, he was born between 1848 and 1858 and lived in Ste. Sophie de Lévrard. A labourer from the age of 14, he worked on logging drives and in logging camps. He gave up working as a labourer about 1915 to become a farmer. He was the father of 11 children, only 4 of whom were alive in 1920 (2 of the children died as adults and 5 died in childhood).
