Following is an extract from a confidential report of the Warden of Kingston Pen.:-

H-600, Houde (female) has served over 12 years on life sentence, conduct and industry very good. This woman is suffering from carcinoma and is in very delicate health. I would be very pleased if special consideration could be shown in this case, as her present physical condition will render her unfit for general prison labor and she will have to be regarded as an invalid.
