Bernard Iquugaqtuk on Inuksugait in Uqalurait (2004)

In the early days when people had bows and arrows, the islands northeast of here were a caribou hunting ground. In spring, the caribou used to move towards the sea. That's when the people made blinds and inuksugait out of stone. There are some blinds at the end of Tasirjuaq.
