This Indenture, made in duplicate the Eleventh day of March one thousand eight hundred and seventy five

James Donnelly
of the Township of Biddulph in the County of Middlesex and Province of Ontario, Yeoman

hereinafter called “The Mortgagor,” of the First Part;
and

THE ONTARIO SAVINGS AND INVESTMENT SOCIETY, hereinafter called the “The Mortgages,” of the Second Part; and Judith Donnelly wife of the said Mortgagor, of the Third Part.

[...]Witnesseth that in consideration of Six hundred Dollars, now paid by the Mortgagees unto the Mortgagor [the reciept of which is hereby acknowledged,] The Mortgagor Doth Grant and Mortgage unto the Mortgagees, their successors and assigns for ever, all that certain parcel or tract of land and premises, situate lying and being in the township of Biddulph in the County of Middlesex and Province of Ontario, containing by admeasurement fifty acres be the same more or less, being composed of the north half of lot number eighteen in the Sixth Concession of the said Township of Biddulph save and except that portion containing two thousand square feet off the North East corner conveyed by deed registered as number one hundred and twenty eight to the Trustees of School Section number three of the township of Biddulph
