COUNTY MAGISTRATES COURT.

Before Squire Peters — Saturday Afternoon

The following persons appeared this afternoon to answer to a charge of trespass proferred by John Donnelly, Biddulph: — Jerry McDonald, Peter Breen, Mike Blake, John Carroll, James Flannagan, Peter Dewan, John Kennedy, John Hernan, E. Ryan, John Ryan, John Dorsey, James Maher and Jas. Kelly. It is alleged that a few since these persons visited the Donnelly farm in company with others, and proceeded to search the place for a cow which had been stolen from one of their number; and, further, that they assaulted Mr. Donnelly, sr., while endeavoring to prevent the trespass. Case still in progress.
