Brimmacombe, Richard

Richard Brimmacombe was murdered in Biddulph in 1857. Patrick Ryder and William Casey were implicated for the crime. Supposedly, Brimmacombe had interrupted a fight between Casey and another man, and Casey killed him in revenge. Years later, as a magistrate, Casey was active in the Vigilance Society.
