Everett, Samuel

Everett came to Lucan in the 1870s and was later hired as a constable. In 1878 he accused Robert Donnelly of shooting at him. Donnelly went to prison for the crime, yet the year following the shooting Everett claimed he was not certain that Robert was the culprit. Everett was an enemy of local postmaster William Porte, and he also fought with Constable William Hodgins.
