Biddulph Township

[ Lucan Area Heritage and Donnelly Museum, Copyright Great Unsolved Canadian Mysteries Project, Jennifer Pettit,   ]Home to the Donnellys, Biddulph Township was originally part of the Huron Tract, which was owned by the Canada Company who acquired the land in 1829 with the intent of selling the land to settlers. Biddulph was named after one of the men who invested in the Canada Company. This area was originally part of Huron County, but became part of Middlesex County in the 1860s. Biddulph is now part of the recently created Township of Lucan Biddulph.
