AN ASSAULT CASE

AN ASSAULT CASE-Thomas Donnelly, a stage driver, of Lucan, was arrested this afternoon by Detective Murphy, on three separate charges. The first was a charge of assault preferred by James Curry, of Biddulph, for assaulting and beating him on the 17th September last; the second for unlawfully taking from him at the same time, the sum of $7.75; the third and last charge was for assaulting and beating Joseph Berryhill at the same time. Others not as yet arrested are interested in the case. Donnelly was remanded until the 30th inst.[this month] for examination.
