Be it Remembered that on the first day of January in the year of our lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Seventy Seven James Donnelly the younger of the Township of Biddulph farmer, James Donnelly the elder of the same place farmer, and Richard McDonald of the City of London Carpenter personally came before me, L. Lawrason, Police Magistrate, [...]

The condition of this recognizance is such, that if the above bounden James Donnelly the Younger will appear at the next Court of Oyer & Terminus and General Gaol Delivery to be holden in and for the County of Middlesex and there surrender himself into the custody of the Keeper of the Common Jail there, and plead to such indictment as may be found against him by the Grand Jury for or in respect of the charge of assault upon John Courcey [constable] and take his trial upon the same, and not depart the said Court without leave.
