[...] John Purtell on the twenty second day of august one thousand eight hundred and seventy six was tried by and before James O’Loane Police magistrate for the Town of Stratford in the Court of Perth upon and Information preferred before him by Henry Debus against said John Purtell and charging him with having feloniously unlawfully and maliciously caused serious bodily harm to the said Henry Debus with intent to disable [...].
