Also Appeared Sieur Louis lefebvre Duchouquet aged sixty-Five years,

bourgeois of This city residing In His house on Rue notre Dame, who upon taking the oath
Deposed [...] that For some months the Said Gardelette who Lodges at his house has uttered horrid Blasphemies And Imprecations Night And day; that at His age He has Never Heard even the most wicked speak Words And Imprecations Such As Hers; that he Believes Her to be insane or possessed; that she at times utters “Come Satan and Take This H..... Woman from this Body, who for So long has Been yours to take.” And many other Utterances just as horrid, renouncing Chrism And Baptism; that he must Extinguish The fire every night for Fear that the said Gardelette will set fire to the house And as such he leaves her no Candles and Implores us to remove her from His house, not being able to find rest Day And night [...]
